This is a modernised version of the old Dutch studio that is only used now a few times a year for live broadcasts via microwave and landline links to a Manx Radio medium wave transmitter on the Isle of Man. If you’re lucky you can visit the ship on one of the few weekends when they are broadcasting live from this studio as Radio Caroline North, mimicking the days during the 1960s when Radio Caroline had two radio ships with one broadcasting off the Essex coast as Radio Caroline South, and one off the Isle of Man announcing as Radio Caroline North. The DJ is Peter Philips.
